As the Commercial Director you will be the commercial and financial lead of the organization, driving revenue growth strategies and profitability.
Next to owning our commercial growth you will lead financial planning.
Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial growth strategy for pioneering new markets and opportunities setting long term goals and short term tactics
Work closely with our founder and our Team & Operations Lead to make sure that the product vision and commercial strategy is effectively executed within our teams & departments
Prospect and close relationships with a limited number of key account clients
Monitor processes across the revenue cycle from customer acquisition to engagement to success
Determine budget trade-offs and manage company-wide financial planning and reporting
Support a culture of accountability, setting performance metrics and tying company performance, compensation and career development
Oversee legal aspects & accounting including coordinating and preparation of internal and external financial statements

5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (start-up / events / strategy consulting)
Event industry knowledge a plus (not a must)
Experience in the responsibilities listed above
Strong leadership skills, can easily move others to action
Excellent communicator who can clearly and succinctly communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographic regions and timezones
Knowledge of digital innovation and the wider tech & startup ecosystem
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance a plus (not a must)
