What started as the world’s first crowdfunded festival seven years ago, turned into a 4-day flagship festival in Berlin and a series of event chapters around the world. We’ve just delivered our 7th festival edition in June 2018 for 21,000 attendees with 100+ Satellite events from across Berlin city, and our Conference covering 6 stages, 24 themes, 10 formats, 100+ Exhibitors at the Haus of Tech, and the long-awaited TOA Night with art and music at its core.

Partnership Manager oversees the entire sales and implementation process (from idea generation to partnership performance evaluation and feedback incorporation) - a continuous process, focused on three key factors:

  • Revenue generation;

  • Partner satisfaction & growth;

  • Partner retention.

Partnership Manager looks after:

  • onboarding process of a partner;

  • initial sales outreach with new and existing partners;

  • building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships;

  • overseeing the smooth transition of the accounts from sales process to account management;

  • negotiating partnership packages;

  • partner contract agreements.



  • Prospecting lead list;

  • Onboarding and signing contracts with partners;

  • Negotiating packages, offers and contracts and close agreements;

  • Serving as the main point of contact for all partnerships;

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships;

  • Identifying areas of improvement to meet sales quotas;

  • Managing portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success;

  • Ensuring timely and successful delivery of chosen packages / formats;

  • Following and communicating on partner progress of goals to the Director of Sales and Marketing and all internal stakeholders;

  • Overseeing the transition of the accounts from sales to account management;

  • Ensuring smooth onboarding process for the upcoming accounts;

  • On-site partner management;

  • Reporting and providing feedback after the conference.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Project management;

  • Ability to autonomously manage large-scale events and heavy workloads during peak seasons;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and public speaking skills;

  • Customer focus and drive for top-class event execution;

  • Self-starter with a strong drive to learn and succeed.
