Your Role

As the Head of Marketing you are essential in defining what TOA is, what our brand stands for and how we want to communicate this to our audience. You will be responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of TOA’s growth and internationalization via the crucial elements revenue growth, data & business intelligence, digital marketing & content, community & support, and brand identity and products.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Create, oversee and execute a multi-year marketing strategy across all of TOA’s channels

  • Lead strategic and operational execution of all marketing activities (data, digital marketing & content, community, brand identity, paid organic search marketing) to support overall TOA’s growth and brand positioning

  • Recruit and manage TOA’s marketing team and support a culture of accountability, setting performance metrics and tying company performance, compensation and career development 

  • Work together closely with other departments and external partners (partnerships, content, design, public relations etc.)

  • Own TOA’s marketing budget planning, forecasting and execution

  • Expand TOA’s reach and drive (inter)national ticket sales

  • Generate leads for our partnership team

 

Full-time position, starting asap.

 

Requirements

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role, ideally in the event industry

  • Leadership experience of 2+ years in marketing, managing remote team(s) would be a plus

  • Experience in entering new markets, positioning a brand and products / services based on channels like digital marketing & content, paid organic search marketing, community building.

  • Understanding of the Berlin and even more importantly the European tech and startup ecosystem.

  • Thrives in uncertainty.

  • Self-starter with a strong bias for action and data-driven.

  • Perfect command of English, German is a plus!
