Your Role

TOA Berlin consists of a multiple-stage conference, several additional simultaneous workshop and networking formats, 10.000+ sqm indoor and outdoor exhibition area, live music, art, street food and more.

 

As an event production intern you will help our main event in Berlin come to life. You will work in a close team where you will support the planning and execution of certain technical, logistical and hospitality aspects of the realization of a large and complex MICE event.

 

The position will be limited from April until July 2018, full time.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate

  • You have basic festival, conference or similar event management experience;
  • You are a natural planner and you love to collaborate with others to coordinate events, people and resources (service suppliers, deliveries, on-site crew etc.);
  • Therefore you need basic logistical, technical and coordinative knowledge/experience/skills;
  • You are passionate about events and how things that have been planned in theory for months come together and are set-up and dismantled in a very short period of time;
  • You are detail-oriented and willing to perform under the pressure of a fast paced event situation;
  • You speak fluent German and English;
  • You know Berlin’s streets inside out, have a driving license and experience in driving fully loaded cars through the rush hour of a major city;
  • You do not dread physical tasks and are willing to get your hands dirty;
  • You are flexible regarding working hours, tasks and locations (within Berlin);
  • You are highly motivated to be a part of Tech Open Air, Europe’s coolest interdisciplinary technology festival.
